7/27/14 7:30 p.m Video - Beaver Creek Road to Hungry Mountain - a fire mosaic
The Fire Behavior Analyst flew again today, this time in the Beaver Creek Road and Hungry Mountain areas and again found a mosaic of burned and unburned trees, and no significant fire spread. He found areas to the north, northeast, east and southwest smoking due to the increased heat, but with no significant fire activity. This video shows an intermix of brown and green trees, as well as some areas that were more severely burned. The point of showing this video is to ensure you that not all the acreage inside the perimeter line, is black. Much has burned lightly close to the ground. This will provide enhanced wildlife habitat and better grazing for live stock.
