Evacuation level for the intersection of east and west
Chewuch Road ( at the bridge) up to the national forest remains at level 1.
However, the road will be closed except for local residents only, due to
increased fire traffic.
I'm curious who is running this blog and the Carlton Complex FB page- is it a DNR employee?
I want to commend whoever is doing both of these sites because you have done an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC job on both!! You are doing a GREAT JOB giving up to date info, responding quickly to questions and comments, and consistent posting of the press releases and real-time updates makes both of these sites a VERY valuable resource for those of us who want/need to know info in the area. Wonderful and helpful use of social media to help people in a scary and dangerous situation. WELL DONE!!
